Attorney Daniel Urban started his career in tax law volunteering for a Low Income Taxpayer Clinic as a law student at Michigan State University College of Law. He later graduated with honors from law school, and went on to earn an LL.M. in taxation from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.

Volunteered at a Low Income Taxpayer Clinic in East Lansing, MI, and represented taxpayers as a student clinician before the IRS and Michigan Department of Treasury
NATIONAL FIRM - 2010
Tax resolution for thousands of taxpayers
Represented thousands of taxpayers in disputes with the IRS and state revenue departments, including tax settlements, lien discharges, audits, income tax appeals, Tax Court representation, tax return preparation, and levy relief. Later served as director of the tax preparation department, leading a team of 20 preparers, reviewers, and support staff.

Joined a boutique law firm focused on IRS and Illinois Department of Revenue audit representation, handling cases from the audit stage through appeals and litigation.

A Chicago-area family man, coach, and goaltender
In his spare time Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, rooting for Chicago sports teams, coaching youth sports, and goaltending for a recreational adult ice-hockey team.
His office is at 5250 Old Orchard Road, Suite 300, in Skokie, just outside Chicago.
